J.D. Taylor Contracting, Inc. | Contractor Spotlight
PABCO® Premier | Arlington, TX
Owner of J.D. Taylor Contracting, Joe Taylor, recently took on a project of love with The Village at Pleasant Ridge in Arlington, Texas. A local Arlington church, Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, aspired to build beautiful duplexes on their property for persons in need. Through months of coordination and hard work, the dream came to fruition and now provides homes to widowed women. The residents pay a very low monthly maintenance fee, and the Board of the Village at Pleasant Ridge funds and maintains the entire property.
Joe became involved in the early stages of the project after driving by and seeing the framing being built in 2001. The community today offers twelve residences in their six buildings. Joe completed the roofing installations on all six buildings, including re-roofing the original three structures and installing the roofs on the three newly built buildings. All work was accomplished pro bono using PABCO® Premier Laminated Fiberglass Shingles. PABCO® Roofing partnered with local distributor, Pacific Supply, to donate a portion of the materials for the project.
